ACCOMMODATIONS

Guests will arrive at Ubiquity Lake Lodge after a scenic 75-minute flight. Our main lodge is located on a quiet bay on Ubiquity Lake. We will greet you on the dock and help you get settled in. A warm meal will be ready for you the moment you step in the door. Choose your bed and make yourself at home. Once you're finished eating, the boats will be ready for you to take on Ubiquity Lake! You are free to go fishing as soon as you would like.

Our camp is quiet and relaxing; you may come and go as you wish. Meals are prepared at a time that is convenient for you.

Ubiquity Lake Lodge

You will be amazed by the comforts of home that you will find here in the remote wilderness.

With homecooked meals, many amenities, cozy beds, and personalized service, the only thing

you will need to worry about is landing that next big fish!

Our lodge can fit up to 12 fishermen, though groups of 6-8 will be most comfortable and have the entire camp to themselves. Each guest will have their own bed in either the downstairs bedroom or the upstairs bunk-style living quarters. Smaller groups will be paired together with like-minded guests to fill the camp. Meals will be shared but you are welcome to do your own thing during the rest of your stay.

All bedding and towels are provided, but guests are responsible for bringing warm clothing, rain gear, insect repellent, sunscreen and fishing gear. Full list of what we recommend packing is available below.

Our lodge is quite modern considering how remote our location is. Hot and cold running water, indoor bathroom, showers and electricity will keep you warm and comfortable.

We also have a satellite telephone and internet in camp to keep in touch with the outside world

or in case an emergency should arise.

Our staff quarters are separate from the main lodge in order to give you privacy and make the space your own.

At the end of the day, our lodge will be your cozy retreat. Enjoy a cold drink on the deck overlooking the lake, lounge on our leather furniture, or share stories around the campfire.

If guests bring more than their maximum allowed weight, they will be charged for the additional air freight. Please let us know if you expect to be over your weight limit so we can plan accordingly.

Carpenter Lake Outpost

Our Outpost Cabin is the perfect place to enjoy a fantastic shore lunch!

Other than the incredible fishing Carpenter Lake has to offer, our other favorite feature is its rustic Outpost Cabin that is nestled in a beautiful, quiet bay. The authentic log cabin was built by local indigenous people and is located 1 ½ miles from the Ubiquity Lake Lodge, accessible by quad or boat.

Carpenter Lake holds the record for the largest Lake Trout at our lodge; however repeat clients love this lake for its Trophy Northern Pike. After battling these 4 foot fresh water sharks, the Outpost Cabin provides a perfect spot to pull up the boats and cook up some shore lunch. While the fish is frying and your arms are getting a much needed rest from reeling, you will enjoy exploring the cabin and the surrounding area.

If you’re up for some added adventure, hike to Marshall’s Mountain nearby for some incredible views!

Renovations

We are looking forward to restoring this log cabin in order to offer it to those looking for a more rustic experience. This camp will provide ultimate privacy and seclusion for our guests and gives them the opportunity to truly create their own adventure.

We do not have a timeline for completion but feel free to reach out for any updates or stay tuned on our social medias to see progress on our cabin. We'll be sure to post about it!

What to Bring

Preparing for Your Fly-In Trip

When packing for your fly-in fishing or hunting holiday, make your trip enjoyable by bringing the appropriate clothing to keep you warm and dry. Early June will have night time lows of 40-55 Fahrenheit (4-13° Celsius) and daytime highs of 55-85 Fahrenheit (13-30° Celsius). If the weather is cloudy and rainy, expect cool conditions.

On hot sunny days, the sunlight is very intense so sunscreen and a hat are a must.

  • Reusable Water Bottle

  • Water resistant or rubber boots

  • Gloves

  • Insect repellent

  • Personal items

  • Sunglasses and hat

  • Passport (for U.S. guests)

Hunting Gear

  • Bow Hunters: Archery Equipment & Camouflage

  • Rifle Hunters: Rifle of Choice, Ammunition & High Visibility Clothing.

        - A vest or outer layer covering the torso that is

white or orange along with an orange hat is required.

Fishing Gear

  • Fishing Gear and Tackle

  • Fishing rod. Medium - Medium/Heavy Action. There are extra rods & reels at camp if needed.

  • Reel (with new line). 12 - 20 lb test

  • Wire leaders: 6 - 12 inch 30 lb test

  • Assorted lures. We recommend Len Thompson #2, Five of Diamonds or Red and White Spoons, Canadian Wigglers, bright lures for casting and trolling 2-5 inches in length work great, 1/8 or 1/4 ounce jigs, 4 - 6 inch plugs.

       - If you have the choice, bring barbless hooks,

This was a bucket list trip for us that checked all the boxes!

Came as strangers left like family! Ubiquity Camp exceeded our expectations.

The food was fantastic. We left with a few recipes that we have already tried.

The fishing was great! We caught all 4 species. Thanks Adam for ensuring we all caught Arctic Grayling before moving onto the monster Lake Trout. Shore lunches were beyond incredible!

Thank you for a tremendous trip! We would and have highly recommended this camp to others. When we do a fly in trip again we would only come back to Ubiquity Lake Lodge!

Thanks again for a great time!
